BOOKT

Mobile Application

prototype.png

One of my projects for the Google UX/UI Design certification course. The goal was to create an application that was geared toward busy working professionals. As such, I decided to focus on the mobile version of this application. I wanted to create something that emulated popular room rental sites, like VRBO and AirBnB, but with a more simplified flow and look.

My final project for my Google UX/UI Design certification course. We were asked to design a project for the greater good. I decided to create an app and website that would help users to rent gently-used gear, and to donate their old gear to those in need. There is a steep financial curb for those who want to participate in outdoor activities, and I believe an application like this could help to make those experiences available to everyone.

A personal project. I wanted to redesign the website for one of my favorite writers and podcasters.

IOSCO COUNTY, MI

Logo

Artboard 1.png

The client wanted a refreshed look for their logo to go along with the new website we were designing for them.

Major points that they wanted addressed in the updated image were trees, water, and the sunrise (Iosco County is located on one of the eastern-most parts of the state). They also liked the idea of keeping the color palate close to the old graphic.

Hello

My name is Jordan K Gaza and I am a web developer, designer, and illustrator.

With almost a decade of customer service experience, I have the ability to communicate with clients in a way to effectively identify needs and react accordingly. I pride myself on my ability to solve problems creatively and to approach any potential issues and conflicts with empathy in order to reach functionality and mutual understanding. I am passionate about accessible design in technology and I work every day to make websites that are visually appealing and intuitive to use. I try and foster a sense of creativity in my personal life by crafting, drawing, painting, writing, and experimenting in the kitchen. I also like remaining active, and I’m always excited to hike the many beautiful trails of the West Michigan coast.
